Congrats on making it to the challenge homepage! Each month I’ll be posting the link here for the latest challenge.
The #GetOutsideChallenge was created as a fun way to encourage people to, well, get outside. Every month brings a new challenge that gets you into the great outdoors. You should be able to complete all challenges regardless of whether you live in a wilderness environment or an urban area with little green space. If seasonal challenges are posted, I’ll usually have an alternative for people who don’t have seasons, or who have opposite seasons from me in good old Buffalo, NY.
I want you to feel empowered to get out into nature and breathe in the fresh air! Even if you’re in a city, you can benefit from getting out your front door. I know all too well how hard it can be to get off the couch and do something good for your body. If you’re anything like me, you’re a busy person who is exhausted at the end of the school or work day.
How Can You Participate?
That’s easy! Download the #GetOutsideChallenge worksheet via the form below, and start planning your outing! While you’re completing it, try to get some photos to share on social media, or you can email me and let me know how it went! Afterwards, fill out the rest of the worksheet with your thoughts on the challenge. Did you enjoy it? How did getting outside and being active make you feel? Make sure to share when you’ve completed the challenge each month, and find others using the #GetOutsideChallenge hashtag to encourage them along their journey too!
Download the Worksheet
I want you to document each challenge so you can keep track of what activities your doing and how they make you feel. You can use a journal, a computer, or the downloadable worksheet I created specifically for the monthly challenges.
All you have to do to get the worksheet is fill out the form below with your email address, and a downloadable version of the worksheet will be sent to your email in a few minutes! I won’t spam you with a million emails, I promise! I’ll check in a few times a month to keep you focused on the challenge and to give you other tips, tricks, and information for living your best life outside!
